Youth Travel is an important pacemaker for tourism with a high growth potential which is why the tourist industry is concentrating more and more on this sector. For young people holidays and travel are an important part of their leisure activities, especially in Europe. 

The number of young travellers all over the world has increased over recent years.

Since 1996 the number of young visitors to Germany has shown a steady increase. In 2000 Germany welcomed e.g. more than 4,3 million visitors especially in the group of 15-24 years young people from Europe and overseas. As a tourist destination for young people, Germany is very attractive. 

The variety of offers from cheap to expensive satisfies virtually every taste:
